Call us at the assistance number appearing on your insurance card or certificate, or on the application and member services site of your insurer. We are available 24/7. If you’re in Canada or the U.S., use the toll-free number. If you’re anywhere else in the world, you may call us collect.
For Hearing-Impaired Members :
To reach us, please dial 711 on your TTY (Teletypewriter) to use the TRS (Telecommunications Relay Service) and ask the operator to connect you to the assistance number on the back of your insurance card.
Additionally, you can also contact us prior departure for more information on the assistance process and the best ways to contact us during your trip.
You must speak with CanAssistance before seeing a doctor outside your province of residence. If it’s an emergency and you are unable to call, go to the nearest hospital or clinic. When you have found medical help, contact us and we will open your assistance file.
